Three winning pianists will have the opportunity to participate in a masterclass taught by world-renowned pianist Anne-Marie McDermott while performing on the LPO’s brand new Steinway Concert Grand in the Orpheum Theater.

Each winner will also receive two tickets to the LPO’s Anne-Marie McDermott Plays Mozart concert on January 5 at the Orpheum Theater and also to MASNO’s Concerto Showcase IX featuring the top three medalists of the 2016 New Orleans International Piano Competition performing with the LPO on January 8 at Loyola University’s Roussel Hall. The three winners of the competition will be determined by a panel of judges selected by the LPO and MASNO.

The masterclass will take place on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at the Orpheum Theater beginning at 6:00 PM. The masterclass is free and open to the public.
