Delivery Methods

The LPO offers the following ticket delivery methods:

Will Call

Tickets will be held and available for pickup at the concert hall beginning one hour prior to the performance.


Tickets will be delivered as a PDF file via email immediately upon payment. Please select this delivery method only if you have access to a working printer as it requires that you print your tickets and bring them with you to the venue.
If you select the email delivery method and do not receive an email with tickets within five minutes of purchase, please check your email spam folder. Contact the LPO Patron Services Office if an email cannot be located containing the tickets.


Tickets will be mailed via USPS to the address indicated on the order. Orders for tickets placed less than five days prior to the respective concert will not be eligible for mail delivery.

Pick Up

Tickets may be picked up at the LPO Patron Services Office during regular business hours.

Reund Policy

The LPO does not issue refunds but does offer exchanges.

Exchanging Tickets

The deadline for exchanging tickets is 5 p.m. on the last business day prior to the day of a concert.
There is a $10 exchange fee per ticket. This exchange fee is waived for all season subscribers.
Tickets may be exchanged for new tickets at the same price level or lower. If you wish to upgrade your tickets, you will only owe the difference in price.
At the time of the exchange, you may either (1) select a comparable seat for a different concert or (2) receive an account credit, valid through 5/20/18 for single ticket purchases only.

Account credits may only be applied towards the current season. All exchanges are subject to availability.

How to Exchange Tickets

There are two ways to request an exchange:
  • Email your request to tickets@lpomusic.com
  • Call the LPO Patron Services Office at 504-523-6530, option 2
When requesting a ticket exchange, please provide the following information:
  • Your name
  • The number of tickets you wish to exchange
  • The date of the concert(s) that you will not be attending
  • The date of the concert(s) that you wish to attend
  • An LPO Patron Services representative will contact you to confirm the status of your exchange.

Lost Tickets

Should you misplace your tickets, simply call or email the LPO Patron Services Office or visit the LPO ticket table at the concert hall on concert night for replacement tickets at no charge.
Reprints can be placed at will call, or emailed to you for printing at home.
Newly reprinted tickets are the only valid tickets for use at the given concert. Any tickets reported as misplaced, but later found after reprinting has occurred, must be destroyed as you will not be allowed entrance using those tickets.

Subscriptions and Subscriber Benefits

Purchasing any of the following subscription packages will entitle you to subscriber benefits for the current season:

Gold Pass
Silver Pass
Bronze Pass
Northshore Classics

Discount Tickets

Current subscribers receive a 10% discount on eligible LPO ticket purchases.

Donate Tickets

Subscribers may choose to donate any tickets they are unable to use. The deadline for donating tickets is 30 minutes prior to the performance.
Ticket donors will receive a tax receipt letter acknowledging the cash value of the donated tickets.

How to Donate Tickets

There are three ways to donate tickets:
  • Email your request to tickets@lpomusic.com
  • Call the LPO Patron Services Office at 504-523-6530, option 2
  • Return the donated tickets to LPO Patron Services.

Flexible Subscription Payment Options

The LPO offers subscribers flexible payment options, allowing subscription balances to be split into two or more scheduled credit card payments. Scheduled credit card payments will be automatically charged to the credit card on file on the scheduled dates. All flexible payment orders must be paid in full on or before June 30 prior to each season.

Discount Tickets

All discounts and promotions are subject to availability and may not be combined or transferred.

Student Passports

Student passport holders will be assigned a ticket on a walk up basis on the night of the show. Student Passports will be available for pick up at LPO concerts with a valid student ID. A valid student ID (in addition to the Student Passport) must also be presented in order to recieve tickets on the night of a performance. 

Additional Information:

- Eligible for nearly all LPO concerts, pending availability; some performances not included. 
- Seats are assigned at the discretion of Patron Services the night of concerts.
- Concerts that are sold out are at nearly full capacity will not be available.
- Only valid for current LPO season
- Max one passport per student
- Student ID required to use Passport
- Passports are not refundable, transferable or redeemable for cash value
- Passport holders enjoy the exclusive right to purchase student tickets in advance without also having to purchase a full price ticket.

Student Tickets

Students with a valid, current student ID may purchase one ticket for $10 for all Classics performances, and at a 50% discount for all Pops-Specials (some Pops-Specials performances not valid for Student pricing).
Student tickets are available for purchase at the concert venue, beginning one hour prior to the performance. They may also be purchased in advance but only with the purchase of a full price adult ticket by calling the LPO Patron Services Office at 504-523-6530, option 2.
All student tickets must be held at will call. Each patron picking up a student ticket must produce a valid student ID.
Student tickets may not be available for certain performances and are subject to availability.

Child Tickets

Children ages 6 – 15 are eligible to purchase student tickets.
With the exception of the Family, Education, and Parks concert series, or where explicitly noted otherwise, children under six years old are not permitted at LPO concerts.
Please contact the LPO Patron Services Office (504-523-6530, ext. 2) to order student tickets for children. All child tickets must be held at will call.

Senior Tickets

The LPO does not offer discounts for senior citizens. Open Rehearsals offer an affordable opportunity to hear the LPO perform. Click here to learn more about our Open Rehearsals

Group Tickets

The LPO offers discounts to groups of 10 or more.
Group reservations will be charged a non-refundable 50% deposit, with the balance due 15 days prior to the concert date.
Although every effort will be made to seat groups together, seating is based upon availability, and large groups may be split up to accommodate.
Please contact the LPO Patron Services office for more information or to make a reservation. Rates apply for single event admission. Not applicable for subscription purchases.

Promotional Codes

On occasion, the LPO will distribute promotional codes for discounts on ticket purchases. All promo codes are valid for advance ticket purchases to specified concerts and events only and will not be honored for walk-up purchases on the night of a concert or other ticketed event.

Program Changes

The LPO will make every effort to notify you of any changes that may affect your experience. However, all artists, dates, programs, venues, availability, and prices are subject to change without prior notice.
In the event that a change of venue is required for a performance, you will be issued tickets for the available seats most similar to your initial reservation at the discretion of the LPO Patron Services Office.
