Cal started violin in the Centenary Suzuki School in Shreveport, LA at the age of four where his teacher is Director, Laura Crawford. He has performed in master classes with Brian Lewis, Nurit Pacht, and Maria Radicheva, who teaches at the Manhattan School of Music. He has also studied with Jan Sloman and Peter Salaff of the Cleveland Institute. Since age seven, he also toured the United States, Canada and Sao Paulo, Brazil acting in three Broadway touring shows, Billy Elliot, A Christmas Story the Musical and Matilda.

Cal will be playing the third movement from Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto in E minor.
