Salute to Sgt Pepper

Experience more than 30 Beatles tunes sung, played, and performed in symphonic glory, exactly as they were written. The  concert’s first half celebrates the 50th Anniversary of  the Beatles Sgt. Pepper Album. The second half  features the Beatles’ greatest hits.

The concert shall be preceded at 6:15 pm by an A/V presentation on “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” by Beatles author/historian and New Orleans native Bruce Spizer. Bruce has given his critically acclaimed Beatles presentations at numerous prestigious venues and events, including the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, the Rock ’N’ Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland, the Newseum in Washington, D.C., the Paley Center for Media in Los Angeles, the American Film Institute in Silver Spring, Maryland, the Lincoln Center in New York, the Clinton Presidential Center in Little Rock, Arkansas, and Beatles conventions in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Liverpool and other cities. Bruce will be selling copies of his books in the theater lobby on both evenings, with 50% of the gross proceeds from book sales being donated to the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra.
