Jonathan Gannon joins the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra as 4th Horn for to 2023-2024 season. He is also the Associate Principal Horn of the Mobile Symphony Orchestra and has previously served as the 3rd Horn of the Tallahassee Symphony and the Adjunct Instructor of Horn at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. Jonathan has performed with numerous orchestras throughout the Florida Panhandle, as well as with the Asheville Symphony, the Omaha Symphony, and in the Festival Musical de Santo Domingo in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Jonathan also enjoys performing as a soloist, most recently performing the Britten Serenade with the Florida State University Symphony Orchestra.

Jonathan holds graduate degrees from Florida State University where he studied Michelle Stebleton and holds a bachelor of music education degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia, where he studied with Marcia Spence. Outside of the LPO, Jon enjoys rock climbing, swimming, and hanging out with his dog, Murphy.
