Every spring, your Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra looks forward to presenting Swing in the Oaks at City Park—a cherished tradition for thousands of community members who gather to enjoy an evening of live symphonic music. Thanks to the generosity of individuals and businesses throughout the greater New Orleans area, Swing in the Oaks remains a free event for the community and enables the LPO to:

More than 5,000 people gather at City Park every year for this free outdoor concert, which ensures live orchestral music remains accessible to all.
Inspire Young Musicians
125 LPO Academy students play side by side with LPO musicians for an invaluable mentorship and performance experience.
Foster Community
Swing in the Oaks unites families, friends, and music lovers to celebrate our rich musical heritage in a beloved local landmark.
