Please contact the LPO Patron Services Office for information, to purchase tickets, or to make donations. Emails and voicemails are most often returned during normal business hours. The Box Office closes early on concert days and will reopen at the venue prior to the concert.

  • All tickets will be delivered via email as an e-ticket.If you do not receive your tickets, check your spam/junk folder and mark LPO mail as ‘friendly.’Contact the LPO Patron Services Office if an email cannot be located containing the tickets. 

    The LPO offers additional ticket delivery methods:

    Will Call

    Tickets will be held and available for pickup at the concert hall beginning one hour prior to the performance. Will call tickets will only be available until 4:00 p.m. on the last business day prior to the day of a concert.

    Mail

    Tickets will be mailed via USPS to the address indicated on the order. Orders for tickets placed less than five days prior to the respective concert will not be eligible for mail delivery.

    Refund Policy

    The LPO does not issue refunds but does offer exchanges for a fee. Patrons also have the option to donate the value of the tickets to the orchestra as a tax deductible donation. 

  • The deadline for exchanging tickets is 4:00 p.m. on the last business day prior to the day of a concert.
    *Tickets CANNOT be exchanged, credited, or refunded after a performance.*

    There is a $10 exchange fee per ticket. This exchange fee is waived for all season subscribers.

    Tickets may be exchanged for new tickets at the same price level or lower. If you wish to upgrade your tickets, you will only owe the difference in price.

    At the time of the exchange, you may either (1) select a comparable seat for a different concert or (2) receive an account credit, valid through 5/14/25 for single ticket purchases only. All unused credits will be processed as a donation to the orchestra.

    Account credits may only be applied towards the current season for single tickets. All exchanges are subject to availability.

    Please note: Not all performances are valid for exchanges. Please see individual concerts for details.

    How to Exchange Tickets

    There are two ways to request an exchange:

    When requesting a ticket exchange, please provide the following information:

    • Your name

    • The number of tickets you wish to exchange

    • The date of the concert(s) that you will not be attending

    • The date of the concert(s) that you wish to attend

    • An LPO Patron Services representative will contact you to confirm the status of your exchange.

  • Should you misplace your tickets, simply call or email the LPO Patron Services Office or visit the LPO ticket table at the concert hall on concert night for replacement tickets at no charge.

    Reprints can be placed at will call, or emailed to you for printing at home. Once new tickets are issued, the original ticket(s) can no longer be used. Any tickets reported as misplaced, but later found after reprinting has occurred, should be discarded as they will no longer be valid for entrance into the concert.

    Discount Tickets

    Current subscribers receive a 10% discount on eligible LPO ticket purchases. The discount automatically applies to your purchase in your basket once logged into your lpomusic.com account. Login here.

    Donate Tickets

    If subscribers are unable to attend a concert and do not wish to exchange their tickets, they may donate the purchase price of their tickets to the LPO. Patrons who donate their tickets will receive a full tax donation for the purchase price. Donating your ticket allows the orchestra to return your seats to inventory and sell them to another patron. The deadline for donating tickets is 30 minutes prior to the performance.

    How to Donate Tickets

    There are three ways to donate tickets:

    • Call the LPO Patron Services Office at 504-523-6530

    • Return the donated tickets to LPO Patron Services

  • On occasion, the LPO will distribute promotional codes for discounts on ticket purchases. All promo codes are valid for advance ticket purchases to specified concerts and events only and will not be honored for walk-up purchases on the night of a concert or other ticketed event.

    All discounts and promotions are subject to availability and may not be combined or transferred. 

  • Education passport holders will be assigned a ticket on a walk up basis on the night of the show. Education Passports will be available for pick up at LPO concerts with a valid student ID. A valid student ID (in addition to the Student Passport) must also be presented in order to receive tickets on the night of a performance.  Click here to purchase an Education Passport.

    Additional Information:

    • Eligible for nearly all LPO concerts, pending availability; some performances not included. See individual concerts pages for more details.

    • Seats are assigned at the discretion of Patron Services the night of concerts.

    • Only valid for current LPO season

    • Passports are not refundable, transferable or redeemable for cash value

  • The LPO offers many exciting opportunities for young people, including Family Concerts, Parks Concerts, and family-friendly holiday concerts. The LPO’s traditional classical concerts, however, are not appropriate for children under the age of 6.

    K-12 and university students with a valid, current student ID may purchase one ticket for $10 for all Orpheum Sessions performances, and at a 50% discount for eligible Live with the LPO Specials. See individual concerts for details.

    Student tickets are available for purchase at the concert venue, beginning one hour prior to the performance. They may also be purchased in advance but only with the purchase of a full price adult ticket by calling the LPO Patron Services Office at 504-523-6530.

    All student tickets must be held at Will Call. Each patron picking up a student ticket must produce a valid student ID.

    Student tickets may not be available for certain performances and are subject to availability.

    Please contact the LPO Patron Services Office (504-523-6530, Opt. 2) to order student tickets for children. All child tickets must be held at Will Call.

  • The LPO does not offer discounts for senior citizens. Open Rehearsals offer an affordable opportunity to hear the LPO perform. Click here to learn more about our Open Rehearsals.

  • The LPO offers discounts to groups of 10 or more.

    Group reservations will be charged a non-refundable 50% deposit, with the balance due 14 days prior to the concert date.

    Although every effort will be made to seat groups together, seating is based upon availability, and large groups may be split up to accommodate.

  • The LPO will make every effort to notify you of any changes that may affect your experience. All artists, dates, programs, venues, availability, and prices are subject to change without prior notice.     In the event that a change of venue is required for a performance, you will automatically be issued tickets for the available seats most similar to your initial reservation at the discretion of the LPO Patron Services Office.
