Be among the first to witness the world premiere of a bold new commission by James Lee III, a work promising fresh perspectives and contemporary brilliance. The program embraces the spirit of the Americas with the open-hearted clarity of Copland’s Appalachian Spring Suite and the kaleidoscopic, Inca-inspired textures of Gabriela Lena Frank’s Concertino Cusqueño. To close, violinist Grace Park leads a fiery excursion through Piazzolla’s The Four Seasons in Buenos Aires, blending urban grit with sultry, tango-infused passion.
