While there has been a change in the date, time, and venue, we’re excited to share that this event has evolved into something truly unique—an immersive, city-spanning walking concert experience.

New Concert Details

Sunday, March 29 at 2:30 PM

Begins at St. Louis Cathedral (615 Pere Antoine Alley)

In this reimagined performance, Southern Gothic composer Carlisle Floyd’s Pilgrimage is interwoven with the rich history of New Orleans jazz, unfolding across multiple locations from the French Quarter to the Bywater. Inspired by the city’s famed Nine Churches Pilgrimage, this experience invites you to quite literally walk through the music, discovering how deeply New Orleans culture resonates across genres and spaces.

The full journey lasts approximately 3 hours and includes brief pauses as audiences move between locations.  

Performance Stops Include:

  • St. Louis Cathedral – 2:30 PM

  • Old Ursuline Convent & St. Mary’s Church

  • Kingsway Mansion & Lanaux House

  • Venusian Gardens Art Gallery

  • NOCCA Foundation - Press Street Station – LPO performance at approx. 5:00 PM (600 Homer Plessy Way)
