Step back in time and across Europe with a program that begins with the atmospheric charm of the Boccherini/Berio Ritirata notturna di Madrid, a work that captures the rhythmic pulse of a midnight street retreat. The brilliance continues with Mozart’s “Jupiter” symphony, a towering masterpiece of the Classical era. Finally, the stage comes alive with the vivid colors and folk-inspired energy of Stravinsky’s Petrushka, a mesmerizing ballet score that tells a tale of magic and heartbreak.
