Explore a whimsical world of nature starting with the delicate, shimmering textures of Roussel’s The Spider’s Feast and a fresh Local Composer Feature. Delight in the quirky humor of Telemann’s Cricket Symphony followed by the soaring, kite-inspired rhythms of Gabriela Ortiz’s Papalotes. The performance takes flight with Respighi’s The Birds, a charming suite that mimics the trills and calls of our feathered friends.
