Whisk yourself away to the "City of Light" with the bubbly wit of Offenbach’s La vie Parisienne Overture and a world-class new work by a local Louisiana composer. The French celebration continues with the surreal, jazzy rhythms of Milhaud’s Le boeuf sur le toit and the bustling cinematic flair of Ibert’s Suite Symphonique: Paris. We conclude with the festive grandeur of Mozart’s Symphony No. 31, a majestic tribute to the elegance of the French capital. .
