DURATION: Approximately 90 minutes, including intermission.

The LPO opens the 2025-2026 season in collaboration with the New Orleans Opera to perform Guiseppe Verdi's soaring and dramatic Requiem, his personal statement of both grief and cultural pride, inspired by the deaths of two Italian artists, composer Gioachino Rossini and writer Alessandro Manzoni.
