Step into an elegant evening in Europe with a diverse selection of works from French and Italian composers. The program begins in France with vivid and light-hearted works by Ibert, Tailleferre, and Ravel. Award-winning pianist Gabriela Martinez makes her LPO debut by performing Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G major - known for its brilliant blend of jazz and classical influences.
Respighi’s beloved tone poem Pines of Rome’s concludes the evening with its melodies painting vivid, musical landscapes of Rome’s iconic pine trees.
