Chloe Helene Groth is a graduate of the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, where she earned a Master of Music in Teaching and a Bachelor of Music in Performance, studying with Gregory Fulkerson and Marilyn MacDonald. Chloe has recently returned to New Orleans, and as an avid contemporary music performer, is a core member of the Versipel New Music Collective. She freelances regionally with the Greenville Symphony and Asheville Symphony and other symphonies in the Carolinas and most recently spent three years living in Connecticut, frequently performing with the New Haven Symphony, Springfield Symphony, and Vermont Symphony. Chloe is in residence with the Silver Bay String Quartet each summer in Silver Bay, NY. She has spent previous summers at the National Repertory Orchestra, the Castleman Quartet Program, and as a Violin Fellow at the Eastern Music Festival. Also a passionate educator of over fifteen years, Chloe maintains a private Suzuki violin studio in her home. Chloe lives in New Orleans with her husband Ben, and two middle-school aged boys.
