Bassist Ben Wheeler is a graduate of the Peabody Conservatory of Music, where he studied with Rob Kesselman and Jeffrey Weisner. Prior to moving to New Orleans, Ben was pursuing graduate studies with Jeffrey Turner at Carnegie Mellon University and was Principal Bassist of the Youngstown Symphony.
